About the event
The National Cowboy Poetry Gathering brings together poets, musicians, storytellers, artists, and audiences to celebrate the culture, creativity, and living traditions of the American West.
Hosted by the Western Folklife Center in Elko, Nevada, the Gathering is a beloved annual celebration of Western stories, music, horsemanship, land, and community.
Jessica Teona Schley joins fellow writers and performers in sharing work rooted in the landscapes, experiences, and stories that continue to shape the West.
