My writing comes from my love for my grandmother’s cattle ranch where I grew up. The ranch was in the Santa Ynez Valley, in Northern Santa Barbara County, California. Our family raised grass-fed beef, lamb, goats, turkeys, chickens, a vegetable garden, and horses. You will see much of that love reflected in the poetry and pros on these pages.
